Dr. Larson is a recognized leader in caregiver training. His more than 20 years of experience as a trainer and clinician are distilled in The Caring Helper training program. Dr. Larson’s training program The Caring Helper: Skills for Caregivers in Grief and Loss is in use at more than 600 hospices. His most recent book, The Helper's Journey: Working with People Facing Grief, Loss, and Life-Threatening Illness, was an American Nursing Journal book-of-the-year.
