The Caring Helper with Dr. Dale G. Larson The Acclaimed Bereavement Teaching Tool  The Caring Helper six-part video set and reproducible workbook  The Caring Helper is a video training program with workbook designed for volunteer and professional caregivers working with people who face life-threatening illness, grief, and loss.   Within a few years after its introduction, 40% of hospices, as well as home care and pastoral care centers were using The Caring Helper to support their bereavement training. The program may be used for self-study or as support for group facilitated training. The complete set includes six video presentations in DVD or VHS format, and a reproducible workbook master. The video units are 24-36 minutes in running time each, and are divided into chapters by topic.
